Description
USS Roosevelt NCC-1945 Archer class frigate, Lt. Commander Douglas Barnard commanding. The ship is on assignment near the Alpha Centauri system in 2245.
Note: Captains name is a tribute: Wardmaster Lt Douglas Barnard formed a Christian fellowship for Bible study and prayer and were encouraged by the twelve present at their first meeting. The Director of Religious Films in the Rank Organisation presented them with a wooden plaque which read: 'Trust in the Lord with all thine heart: and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.' - Proverbs 3:5&6. This verse became the fellowship text. (text from Naval Christian Fellowship homepage)

TOTAL EXCELLENCE!! :)
Wonderful words to live by Richard! With Easter here, I am reminded of all He did for you and for me and I am feeling very blessed right now. Sometimes, maybe not as often as we should, we learn even more about what it means to walk by Faith and not by sight. Your view of the USS Roosevelt flying its way around the planet below, illustrates this for me. Have a Happy Easter and God Bless you and your family!...Cheryl
Great ship, great tribute!
