Description
Guess what! Yesterday I saw a bliss in real life! I didn't even know they existed. I had a point and shoot camera with me, but by the time I pulled over at a place where I didn't have a gazillion buildings, it had largely faded. :(
So I made an image of a bliss instead. :) This also represents my first successful attempt to turn a .dem into a .ter.

Excellent bliss and colors in the sky and a very nice surface! PS: Fortunately you saw the bliss yesterday - if you would have seen it today (april 1st!) I would think some aliens wanted to kid you with their UFO ;-))

This gives a beautiful lighting.

Wonderful job on the Bliss effect and surfaces Pat! Excellent render! :)
bliss&sun looks like giant comet! cool fx
A very nicely balanced composition Pat. I believe the bliss effect simulates what is called a "sun dog"...ice crystals are caught in the reflection of the sun...usually on both sides of the sun. Excellent work.
Vey Nice... Great use of colors for the sky and terrain..
