Sometimes looking at your pictures can be a very painful experience, subsequently I do not always know what to say, although you can be sure that I was here even though I did not leave a comment. There is a deep-seated sorrow or melancholy to almost all of your pictures and it can come across very poignantly, or sometimes overpoweringly. Like right now. Artists cull their visions from someplace deep within their souls, whether inspired by others or by their own reactions to nature and the world at large; your images speak very strongly of who you are, how you feel. One of the greatest sorrows that I have found in life is the inability and the impossibility to make everyone happy; it is one of the first earthly rules I have learned growing up - the world does not play by my youthful ideals. But when I look at your pictures, I so want you to be happy, I want to believe that these stunning images are just thoughts and reactions to what other people have felt, that, in essence, they are inspired by the sorrows of others and not necessarily your own, because that would make me so sad. You have a beautiful soul, Gun. Your art is full of the wisdom of time and of life, of love and depth. Their is a maternal patience to your art. Nikita says it wonderfully - Do you know "The Genuine Heart of Sadness" - the essence of the ancient teachings of SHAMBHALA? This comes to my mind seeing your work.
