it wos done on slide a bit well over exposde so i had to muck around to get a pic because it is one of a few i have taken of him.

does have an old time feel... kind of reminds me of my father with the cigar & a longer beard
I want to comment on this shot again. back in the 20's and 30's in new york, there was a photographer nicknamed "Weegee". He had one of the first police radios installed in his car and would often get to the murder and crime scenes before the police. His photo's were stark and real, just like this photo. He would hardly ever be awake during the day, choosing to photograph the night life of the city. His photographs became known around the world. This photograph has that and is what makes it a "real" picture. Excellent job.
