These two images have my first use of strata that I got in a rather unusual way. I was rendering with Terragen last night, and it decided to start giving me streaks instead of terrain. So I just took a strip of streak, rotated it 90 degrees, and made strata out of it. :)

The lighting is great and well placed. A strong feeling of a storm coming. That last blast of bright sunlight just before everything goes black and the storm hits. Another great painting from mother nature..
