Wonderful render AND story. Great posing of the people. As a keen biology/science freak I love the idea with the "lichen-like" organism. In fact complex cells and multicellular organisms are likely to have evolved in a similar manner, e. g. the mitochondriae inside the cell have their own DNA, suggesting they were once independent organisms. Wonderful, inspiring work.

What a fantastic piece of art! You've conjured up an awesome sense of scale with the tiny buildings in the lower left, the vast dark archway and the way the light falls on the strut by the shuttle. There is a nice sense of drama in the figures, good colour contrast in their suits and the background story is intriguing as well. Altogether excellent and just got my vote.
