Description
Liars Tell Lies
Liars tell lies; wise men tell truths
Poets do both; soothsayers sooth
Prophets tell stories; witches tell tales
Braggarts tell fables of men eaten by whales
In this life, time is all we really own
Gifts of treasure and pleasure are on loan
From the seed a giant tree is often grown
The beauty of a diamond cuts the ruggedness of stone
Writers write fiction; singers make rhyme
Printers are making the signs of the times
Tellers of fortunes have fortunes to hide
I tell my heart
