Description
There are many times were you just end up working on a total tangent to where you began. This is one of those times.
I was trying to get the effect of night light reflections across water. Something that I have found difficult to achieve in Vue (and will continue to work on again later). I was also doing some online shopping of the latest great virtual stuff that I tend to never use. I was then going through my resevoir of great items that I have collected/bought over time and started to throw lots of them together.
This is a product of those events. The b/w aspect has helped achieve a better mood that I was after. The colour version does look OK too.
Anyway... thanks for viewing and many thanks to everyone that has commented and appreciated my artwork over time. I am still trying to get 48 hours into the standard 24 hour day, with little success.

Fantastic image...
excellent mood, i like sepia tone, nice volumetric light and deep of field, bravo !
Wow Scott! I love the B&W effect here. It has added so much to this piece. Excellent mood and lighting. I'm happy to see some of the stockpile starting to surface! More please!
Excellent work Scott!
The dog just makes it for me.
very cool picture. I love the characters. ;)
Not too bad a job of throwing things together here, Scott '-)! Great sense of scale here and a great feel to this one with the b/w look you've used! Now...what we really need is a dwarf behind the wheel of that Benz! LOL! ==steve
Super job, Scott! The b&w really works with this render. Great posing and use of textures!
Oh... wow... I'm speechless. Wonderful, wonderful lighting. I really think it benefits from the B&W tone. This is so dense with action... the nonchalant waiting goatee man, the perfectly posed striding man in the white shirt, the curiousity of the woman and the wariness of the dog. Serendipity - you have to love it. A masterpiece! :D
wow scott! i love the bw, very nice touch! also the lighting is perfect, the rays look amazing! fantastic work!!!!
Very cool image, Scott and very different. The lighting here is fantastic and I love the black and white touch, Very well done!
Superb b+w image, love the way you capture the expressions of the folks. That uneven sidewalk / pavement is a bit of a hazard though. Still, excellent artwork, well done.
Wonderfully done - very nice work!
Hey, that IS different. I love it. Very strong image with fantastic light ans people. Very sexy this girl to the right, but the boys are not bad too. Super image Scott.
Nice work Scott with fine twextures although it would seem fairly easy to trip on that side walk! I like the grayscales evry now and then as well!
Yep, Damn that is good.
