Beautiful work Gun, the hand covering the face tell it's own story. Wonderful mood and the colors are very warm and soft.
It reminds me of when grieving (or otherwise upset) couples are interviewed on TV, they always show brief shots of their hands, often holding each other. To me this is a bit like this, given an aged painterly treatment akin to the old Masters.
Wonderful texture to this. It really captures the feelings of unbearable sorrow and pain. The desire to be left alone can be overwhelming sometimes. Wonderful work of art.
