Description
In 2D Forum we have made a lot of New Beginnings this month
This style is new for me, tried to make something Japanese
I am not exactly sure what the letters mean,
but it has something to do with friendship.
If anyone know, let me know too.
Background partly from

i likes, i am always impressed by your work Gun :o) nice color and mood...
It does look pretty authentically Japanese to me... hard to say what does it, but I think it's your use of colour... deep crimsons with hard-edged clean black lines. It may be pastiche but I like it a lot, thanks for sharing Gun :-)
Any style you use Gun is always wonderful! This is very beautiful and peaceful. These colors are superb. Love all your styles!
Superb image, great colors and texture throughout. The bird in the circle is wonderful. A really terrific job.
I love the colors on this. It looks embossed, enameled, chiseled and etched - all at the same time. :)
Buon lavoro, bello!!!
stunning and beautiful:)
Oh yes!!! Beautiful indeed!! Love the colors and texture here!! Wonderful Gun!! Very warm image!! That bird is so gracious and delicate...excellent piece for a first! ;)
In der Tat - ein faszinierendes Muster . . . ! Eine fantastische Arbeit . . . !
Yep, for you something new, for me the signature of Gunsan. excellent.
Absolutely beautiful!!!
Wonderful image. Delicate and haunting.
looks to have all the elements... exquisite color & design... you've succeeded beautifully :]
The first one reads "eternity", as far as I know (I may be wrong) and they are chinese, but japanese used to write chinese hyerogliphs on their art pieses, especially on this kind of "ansient" style :-) The bird (kill me if I remember how it calls in English) is the symbol of longevity in a pare, so eternity is well matched here :-) The style is perfect, as always!
Mmmm.. nice.. sets the mood for today..
beautiful!
This is stunning in its beautiful simplicity. I could see this on my wall...large. Just beautiful!!! V -jay
