This was my entry to this month's Poser forum challenge "Famliy Portrait". It didn't win, but I rather like it. :)

holy crap, thats scary! shows the typical modern family, no touching, prolly cos the parents are going through a divource, the kid is in an almost agressive stance like she is/has been doing stuff she shouldnt, and the facelessness of the people that they really dont care what happenes around them, just as long as they dont see it or smell it! very powerful!

And I still think it's strongly influenced by the Japanese 'Ringu' - I loved the movie, watched all Japanese parts and the US remake (and really got scared!). I feel the same thrill when looking at Your picture (which is positive!). So: i guess this family has been watching a very starnge, short movie... And then the telephone rang...

Very nicely done there. Was a similar pic in a film long before Ring/Ringu. Actually might have been in an original Twilight Zone as well.

Nameless faces=a nameless family=non existence!!If we can't even see the faces of those we love then do we love them any more or less than total strangers...and if we cannot love our fellow man,then how can we love one another,ourselves or even family?

Well, you know I'm all about expressions, so...
Just kidding;-) A very cool concept; scary, but with the usual A_ subtlety. The US version of "Ringu" is "The Ring," starring Naomi Watts. There was a somewhat similar effect applied to faces in the video at the heart of the movie. And Nod might be right about the Twilight Zone, but I'd have to check my "TZ Companion" episode guide to verify it.
