Description
This is an experiment as I have never done a night capture before. I clicked this against many odds. This is the top part of North Block, a govt building which is decorated with heavy lights when we celeberate the Republic Day. Due to high Security and ban on carrying of cameras and cell phones etc., I had to capture this from an unconventional place, viz the backside of the building. There was fog and smoke and no tripod. I litrally hid the camera in my fist while clicking this hence, the image may not be a smart one. Nevertheless, this is a humble effort. I have done a little bit of post effect by adjusting the Gama rays a bit. Frame in PSP. I promise to get a better view of this , if possible. thank you all!!!
:O))

Really a beautiful illumination and capture, Raj! It's difficult to do without a tripod. But you've succeeded!
Wish you would have had a tripod..
You tried your best Unc,against the odds, and it still turned out a nice shot.I would love to see the building whole lit up like this it must be a beauty :))
Great night picture... It look like a ghost church that is appared around nothing... Great atmosphere shot!!! :)
Beautiful!! A stunning night photograph!!
Its not always the sharpness that counts. Here is the proof. And the story make a bonus.
Great effort :) It's almost impossible to get a sharp night shot without a tripod. Can't wait to see your next one.
hey... don't get in any trouble now... i've been reprimanded before for taking pics in a mall... good shot from the hip agent raj :]
Nice work for your first night capture. That is a very cool building! It's a little blurry, but I don't see a way around that considering the limitations you had in capturing the shot.
It's absolutely beautiful.. I'm glad you were able to capture this to share with us.
Excellent shot!!! :0)
