Description
Digital Photo; PP9 postwork
We went to the Riverwalk yesterday thinking the canal portion was still drained. This happens once a year shortly after New Years. They clean out all the restaurant chairs, cell phones, and 'stuff' that falls in and then reflood it.
Well, we missed the draining, but we did catch the raining. It was mostly a light drizzle with enough heavy rain to keep one off guard and away. Anyhow . . .
Here is the Riverwalk in the rain. I added some rain effect using the weather filter and tossed in some other texturing to keep things interesting.
It is definitely a photogenic place to be even in the rain.
Enjoy; and thanks for viewing.

Wonderful image! Really evokes that rainy look! :-)
Very great photography skills especially in the rain.
Been there, beautiful place! Good thing you were under something so you didn't get wet, nice shot!
been there also and you did make a great shot and the colors came out well even with low lite
Wow!Looks like a nice place (no, I haven't been there)! I must say...what a great thing Renderosity.com is that allows us to see these beautiful images that otherwise we would most likely not to be able to see! Thanks! Very nice :o)
Rain pictures are always cool . Really like your river walk >Grrrrrrrrrrr
Best way I have ever seen the river walk, void of people, just drizzled with water, heavenly hevenly!
Nobody out there on this rainy day except you ;o) Great view through a rainy curtain!
it was a wonderful rain, we sure did need it to, wonderful shot! :]
you are right.. scenic even in the rain.. nice capture
Thanks everyone. By using the weather filter, I cheated. There was only a slight drizzle going on as seen in the previous image. However, a minute earlier, this is what a live image would have looked like. However, again, I'd be a fool to stand in that sort of downpour. Digital rain is dry! ;-D
Excellent picture......
