Description
I've taken some of your suggestions and started adding them to my render. First of all, I changed the rather distracting flash light. I got rid of the red metal finish and gave it a black plastic finish, then set it up right at the back of the work bench.
I changed the finish on the tools to chrome, and pulled the "sinking" ratchet out of the floor. I also added some spec' & bump to the floor (but still not happy with it).
Still playing with the lighting, I think I went from too light to too dark, still working on getting it right.

man you working on this is great to me .
this is coming along nicely. Radiosity might help lighten the image all the way around. Also, the bike's paint may reflect more light if the glossiness is turned down just a bit and if the specular setting is turned down a little on the seat and tire. I am very impressed with the progress you are making, great job!
this is some great work. i love the lighting. i'd change the chrome surface just a bit. and, about the floor, i doubt anybody would want to tile their garage, so maybe you should try a concrete or cement texture.
I guess the black & white tile floor in the garage is an "American thing"? But hot rodders and chopper builders like the tile floor:) But THANK YOU everyone on the feed back, I'll work on some of those changes.
This is coming along very well. I like all the little tweaks and adjustments you've made. The only other suggestion I have is that to use a higher res tile image for the floor to avoid blurring. Perhaps even use the procedural for this with anti-aliasing turned off. Well done, sir.
