Description
If I Promised Flowers In The Fall
If I promised flowers in the fall
Would they ever grow at all?
I seem to always trip and fall
Trying to impress you
Am I as clumsy as I seem?
I even stumble in my dreams
If I promised flowers in the spring
Would they ever grow at all?
Just like the flowers in the fall,
The winter and the summer too
The promises I give to you
In seasons yet to be
Are promises I mean to keep
Promises I promise not to break
But as the seasons take their toll in years
Will only broken promises come to call?
If I promised flowers in the fall
Would they ever grow at all?
If I promised flowers in the fall
Would they ever grow at all?
