Great effect, Lon. How was this one done? Displacement?
Awesome!! Owls are magnificient, so I painted one in watercolors a few years ago.
Looks like displacement to me too. I bed it looks wonderful in the dark!! Very nice effect!
The ultimate solution how to make your parents far from your room... excuisite work! :-)
Cool! An owl-as-heightfield! The polys make awesome feathers--what an inspired idea!
you best have lots of memory. Displacement to the extream and some mesh manipulation. Being disabled and pretty much house bound gives me lots of time to experiment. I probably do everything ass backwards from everybody else. I never do tutorials or took any training. I learned it all just by experimentation. Dean is the same although we do tell each other new tricks we found
so cool. well done.
Phenomenal! I'm such an owl freak, and I love this. Then again, I love almost all of your images. Thanks, and I wish you a happy and wonder-filled 2004.
