A diamond watch, doesn't keep time. Can'tell where it has been or the life once known. This is sad, valuable dress on emptiness.

you've captured it's brilliance, even though it may not keep time anymore it still holds memories... much like my grandmother's watch i keep in my jewelry box as a keepsake of her memory :]

Another contemplative piece. Can't help but wonder what was going on when time stopped. This is really beautiful. I love old jewelry, even the garish costume stuff. I have a small collection and sometimes I take it out to look at and try on, and think about who the wearer may have been and what she looked like...where she may have worn it. It all tells a story, doesn't it?
