Description
An outbound freighter, caught on our last nice day. A simple course to follow, past my place, straight on for 100 miles, hard left, and in only a few thousand miles, Japan and the orient. Certainly gets the restless streak twitching. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

Looks about 50,000 Tonnes...hard to Port...I used to write "Port Side" on My Left Hand..."Starboard Side" on My Right Hand. I was an "Untrained Mariner"...everything I have done is "Self Taught"...Your Sea Shots start an Avalanche of Memories. Cheers!
i can relate to your twitching restless streak as i view all these wonderful gallery shots from all over the world... although i never thought of taking a frieghter, but if i did ,i'll now know the way to the Orient :D ...you certainly have a super view here from your place :] cheers!
Looks like she's dumped and is running for home empty? Fab view from here..we do the same ship watching on our river too:))
yep, Ahoi Guys. i am sure they are all thirsty one so much water after they have seen.!!!!! :O) !!!!
Not wanting to repeat Cyns words, i'd like to say thanks to all ship-watchers. No ships around here. Sadly. The more i like your pics! :)
i dreamed of shipping aboard a freighter when i was a kid. at 17 i got my papers for a freighter out of New Orleans and was headed out of the one-horse town i grew up in when the local cop pulled up beside me and arrested me. my birth mother had filed a false report of theft to keep me from "ruining my life". that close Jim, that damned close.
Hope you enjoyed your last nice day Jim!! The only shipping vessels we get around here are brown & with the inscription..."UPS"!!! Excellent Shot! :D
Itchin' and a twitchin' I'm sure!!
Wow ! Very good picture. Where is that place garnite? This look so beautiful. thx for sharing.
Excelent work !
Wonderful view, Jim! Looks like a real big freighter, we haven't such big ships here on our rivers, sorry! Can understand your twitching restless streak ;o)
The frighter seems big, and the canal is wide... Everything great there!
