Whoa, this is exceptional. Great looking burnt out tree, very scarred and forlorn looking. Nice choice of colors.
A little close to home (Los Angeles). We got email from friends in Russia who were worried about us. We're fine, but I'm sure this would hard for folks in the foothills to look at.
I agree completely, Bragova. I too live in L.A., but I'm on the edge of the hills. I was packed to evacuate for days. Still, Vivian's work is gorgeous, and the title helps me realize the fires are over (hopefully for a long time).
It's good to see that some sort of beauty can come out of such great tragedy. Glad all of you are safe. And thanks, Vivian, for reminding us of the beauty.
I agree I too am from California even thought 4 hours away we still got plenty of the smoke.. Vivian you never disappoint me you have an excellent image here that clearly depecks exactly what did happen in those fires and all the tragedy that went along with it. excellently done
Im from Calif, but live in Arizona now and the smoke was horrible over here. Like standing in front of a BBQ with no exhaust! Vivian, this is a great depiction of a burned tree, and it is very realistic! Hope you weren't in those fires? :)
Beautiful, I love the color scheme on this one!! :):)
Yes, this image surely looks like the aftermath of a great fire. Great Apo work.
Great image, Vivian! Mission accomplished; it seems to envoke some prety strong emotion. I also love the smokey background!
I have to agree with Paragon, great art always evokes great emotion, and ypu've done a superb job, Vivian.
It Does Look All Burnt Out At That...
Wonderfully Done Indeed!
Everyone seems to see only fire in this image whereas the first thing that I saw was a oriental dragon stoomping around. It's amazing the number of viewers from California too. Excellent work!
Great looking charred desolate tree, very nice colors and the frame is just perfect.
Thought-provoking image!
A beautiful image Viv.
