Description

Digital Photo with PP9 treatment. Not sure what genre this belongs in. Statue photographed at night. Not much detail visible, so out comes the PP9.

1. treated to moderate 3d filter in original color. Brought out some details. Played with this until it looked 'right.'

2. treated to 'plastic' texture. Not much. Just enough to enhance the 3D effect. Biggest impact was to enhance the foliage in the background.

3. treated to the weather filter. Light rain and drizzle. Just want to give the impression of raindrops in the light.

4. white vignette just creeping into the edge of the image.

5. crisp, small black vignette to complete the frame. FWIW: The statue is a portrayal of the goddess Hebe (HEE BEE). Daughter of Zeus and Hera. She is goddess of youth and her main function seems to have been serving her elders. . . seems being a goddess ain't all it's cranked up to be sometimes. Anyhow, armed with that info, I changed the name of the posting: it was Garden Gnomess. Then again, would Hebe Jebe be pronounced . . . ? Enjoy, thanks for viewing.
