Description
This one took a while. I built it a piece at a time with no clear goal in mind, so it's more or less a stream-of-consciousness thing. I realized after the fact that there are symbols relating to my life that I was unconscious of at the time of creation, making this a very personal work.
My usual thumbnail seemed inappropriate for this one, somehow.

Excellent picture. I clicked on the thumbnail because it reminded me of some houses I saw in the Thousand Isles, while visiting Canada. But there is much more in it when you see the whole picture; Bravo.

Beautiful work, tjohn, absolutely beautiful.
After looking for awhile, I notice something very personal indeed. It has brought a sense of realism to the image, that makes it a masterpiece. Yes, that's right! You poored yourself into this and it shows. The wooden cross, for someone sadly missed, how the guy is standing, the kitty...etc. It all gives the image, an alive type feel, I think.
it's "delicious" to my eye. As if you've done, what I always want to do, but I didn't know it! Superb.
