Description
Thought I could post some more of my "Rapunzel" building ;o)
Some of you may remember my shots "Pushed awy","Climbers" and "Once up on a time".
Thanks to all who have given a comment, a ranking or even a vote :o)
As I wrote before the building had been a fire-station long time ago.
Nowadays the large hall is used for some events like pop concerts or so
and there's a gallery for photographers upstairs.
No Cindy, they won't accept me in the Gallery cause I'm just a hobbyist.
Some of you may also remember there are some ugly modern buildings around,
so it's difficult to shoot the whole building. Anyway I prefer detailshots...hehe.
Hope you like it!
Thanks for viewing
and any comments

wow, Monika. this picture is fantastic, i like the contrast between the old and the new building. Masterly captured. ** vote ** !!!!!!! :o) !!!!!!!
Looks like a very colourful city in the fall with all of the ivy. Well done.
I like, I like!
I you have no place to create a garden on the ground, use the wall of your house. Beautiful capture!
Dear Lady...I am going to try and grow something like this....I will start Today. Wire Netting on the side of My Old Shed...I have some Ivy....when it grows...I will invite You to stay....then You can Photograph the Detail for Me . Hugz and baisser
I'd really like to look down from one of those windows... I bet it must be like to look at the city from a forest...
Such a lovely buidling, full of character. And you've captured it beautifully Monika! :)
Duh, just tell we say youre more then a hobbyist. Stuff em :) Youre work should hang there. Or we do a Rendo exebition :) Rocking Moni. Love the contrast of the arche against the stiff glass/concrete. Perfect prof contrast that is.
yep! as Kro said... STUFF 'EM! you're work should be displayed there... where do we send the petition!? :D really a lovely fascade!!!
romantic buiding
Beautiful building and ivy, great shot huggles =)
Monika I don't like this gallery because I don't understand why they won't accept your photos. Also I don't understand the word hobbyist, I consider you a photographer. If someday I'm the owner of a gallery you are very welcome to expose your photos. Btw, I do like the photo.
Beautiful shot, Monika. Love the ivy, and the fact they've saved the building for aometning worthwhile. Where I used to live, they made an old firehall into a venue for live theatre. It added something to the plays just from the incredible ambience. Why don't I send you $5 for a picture, and you can tell the gallery you're a pro?
couldn't agree more with Jim. i'll send ya a 5 spot too and you can say you've had multiple sales! beautiful work and i love the contrast of old and new with the buildings. great work...you'll always be a pro in my book!
Exquisite photo and POV!!
The ivy adds such a "home like" look to this marvelous old building!! I love it, Monika!! huggles

I belive this bunch of Photographer that are allowed to exibit there must be BIG wankers. you are nonetheless ofthem. They shoud be prowd To have a person Whit your eye for picturing.Word of an artistic soul.
this is maybe the most fascinating to me.. :)
I love the contrasts you have here..the organic with the grace of the old architecture versus the rigid modern:)) As far as exhibiting goes..it is their loss and one day they will regret it:)
It sets the station on fire ;o) Good photo, Monika!
