Description
For this image, my idea was to make a UFO over a city, after many try it seems to me that the best POV was from the top, Easier to make a realistic city view this way.; no need to do complex and heavy poly modeling. The city is not a picture, it is a terrain with an elevation map paint in photoshop, (small brushes and a lot.. a lot of patience) the map is 2048x2048 pixel. Clouds are volumetric texture on spheres and a plan with soft transparency clouds. The UFO is made with boolean operation and procedural textures. Hope you like it.

Yep, a wonderous and good rendering (remind me some Independence Day scene), drawbacks... mmmh, maybe there is the need of a shadow under the big ship, otherwise it may seems that that big dish is glued to the terrain, and the cloud on the right cloud be the right spot to project that shadow on... Good concept, carry on my friend !
