Description
Varians teddybear image made to the month's theme in 2D inspired me to this version, maybe a bit more real, not with the "Goya-ish" minimalism, but nevertheless a real monster for a lot of children.
October theme in 2D Forum:
"The sleeping of Reason Generates Monsters"

delighted you decided to add this to the gallery even if you weren't sure in full of its potential. I repeat here what I wrote in the Forum: It has a dramathic minimalism that empowers the impact so wildly one feels annhilated by the consequences of the moment you've framed. Totally perfect for the theme. And totally shattering me, cos these things hapen too often. But it's a stupid way to say this mine.. as even one single time would be too often. Thank you for this piece Gun.
If my english was that good, I still could not write such a deep comment about this work. I can only say it in simpel words : FANTASTIC.
Just sitting here with tears running down my face. You have captured the essence of a true monster.
This definitely gives me the scaries. When I was a little girl my older brother used to put on a Gorilla mask and creep up to the side of my bed when I was sleeping. It scared me half to death. I learned right then and there that there really are such things as monsters, they are better known as older brothers.
Fabolous... I really can see my self in this image... walking thrue that dark forest back in my childhood.. Beautiful!
Good, that the spectator is behind the monsters back - we could save the child in case of serious trouble. Maybe thats why the kid is not looking scared - rather astonished.
Excellent work of art!!!!!
