Description
The afternoon mists gather at Hakalau Forest National Wildlife Refuge on the Big Island of Hawaii. It's a magical place where most every bird and many plants you see are on the endangered list-- some on the brink of extinction. Shot with a Nikon 950 CoolPix in b/w mode. As a side note, before you book your trip to Hawaii to visit Hakalau-- it's extremely limited access to protect the flora and fauna-- call months ahead before your visit.
