Description
The day passes slowly as she trudges on through the thick woodland. The air is muggy and humid deep within the forest, the previous day's storm having done little to relieve the thick cloying atmosphere. She walks carefully, her feet tired and sore, scratched and torn by the litter of the forest floor. In her haste to be away from the ruins she did little to prepare for this journey than fine an old discarded shirt.
As she continues she begins to feel as if she is being watched. Her apprehension grows with each tireing step. Hour falls upon hour and her sense of unease grows...would this forest never end? As the dappled sunlight through the thick canopy begins to sink into the west she comes upon a small clearing, at its centre a pool of cool, clear and very inviting water. She decides to wash away the sweat and grime of the day before finding a place to sleep for the coming night. She steps into the pool...
This one was actually done prior to the 'Road Ahead', but I realised I needed a filler picture to sort of explain why Leanna found herself in a forest. Anyway - thanks for looking.
