Description
Peter Kaufman was kind enough to let me work with
one of his images: Streetportrait 35.
I have looked at it so many times,
and the image touched me so deep.
So I made this, hope you like it Peter!
Talk about coincidences! Just a moment ago
I posted a portrait of my son
Made in almost the same fashio.
And it strikes me now
that this boy make me think of my son
when he was a little boy.

I really like the background textures very ambiant and scratchy like an old hip hop record. The picture is just begging to have its edged highlighted but thats because I'm a edge hilite junky so don't front it.
Wow, excellent fusion of 2 masterminds.
Beautifully done!!!
i have much enjoyed Peter's streetportrait series & seeing this one transformed by your hand just brings a smile to my face, love the sweeping scratches & warm subtle lighting! i see the similarity to your son :]

Hi Gun, I sure like what you did with the picture. Its a pleasure for me to see one of my own images interpreted in such an artistic and expert fashion. Thank you very much!

this iamge realy touches those who sees it!!
This is great Gun, The texture and the subject really fit together, I can see the attraction of this portrait the eyes and the expression full of concern. It has the feel of an old master painting about it, I think. :0 )
Awesome...truly takes my breath away! Wonderful textures..another stunning image! :)
