Description
Hi everybody. Gee, this prog is fantastic! :)
I had some fun in modeling with Hyper-NURBS (the three pieces are originated from a simple cube), and I'm trying my hand with simple shaders (the metal). I used a spherical HDR image on a sky object (but I rendered it with normal settings). Wood texture from Lemog.
Please, comment and criticism are not only welcomed, but really wanted. For example, I'd like a lot to know how to make the fork points more... pointy :)
Thanks for looking and have a great week.
Stefano.

Let's all join this meal and raise a glass for Stefano who did it again :) This looks great man and a beautiful design of silverware!
Amazing texture.Metallacity is so good.Think I'ts time to install the demo of C4D.My Vote button works.
wow Stefano! the lighting in this is amazing! awesome texturing too.
Amazing silver texture, beautiful design,great render...like it:o)
Beautifully designed eating utensils! Lovely table as well. I can't wait to see what you can do when you master this program, if this is just the learning stage!
I agree, nice image, and could you maybe give the scoop on the metal material? :>
whew, give an artisan a tool and it's hard to say what will happen. Fabulous... very usable and to boot i have a very fond look at my weekend of degustation, so i should know hehe. Eureka! to you, but i didn't get that far north, just Sonoma (a sideways joke) Seriously, wine would be easy to render, However now, stefano, the food? how to make it not look you know what? Can you do some cheese, lettuce, a veal chop or a ratatouille to go with it? Italian food is OK! I'll easily vote on its merits and vote if only to give you a mighty kicker (in the gentlest sense of course)
Lucky for you, I'm taking a C4D course at school, and finding it quite fun. I'm assuming you're using hyperNURBS? If so, go into point selection mode at the left of the screen, then select the tips of the fork. Hold the period button and drag the mose left and right to add to the point's weight. This also works for edges and polygons.
Super image Stefano.
Stefano!!! your C4D image is jst fantastic!!!your modeling and texturing is superb...:)
Cool metal and design stefano. Not much I can say what others didn't say already: Yet another excellent work of yours
I can't tell you how to make the fork points more pointy, but I like what I saw up till now. I know that it won't be long until you master c4d like you did with Bryce.Keep on playing DC.
Add a line of mesh with the knife tool near to end of prongs. Go into point mode select end of prongs- drag out and using size tool reduce area of those four points. Use your judgement.
I'm going shopping for a copy of 4d now, see ya!;) but seriously, good start, looks like an exciting piece of software.
wow your skill in this program shines already ! excellent stefano!! vote
Great image, I really like the flatware and the stainles steel texture.
I don't know Cinema 4D but your work shows power of it. Cool, Stefano! :) Mirek
I like it. Kinda like airline cutlery not quite sharp enough to do any damage. I'm looking forward to the next version.
You're diving in deeper and deeper. Fantastic work.
Great work Stefano, this is really cool..I like the material you used! ;-)
Nice going Stefano, you are on the right way :)
I'm not familiar at all with C4D, but your images make me want to try it out. Very realistic.
superb!!lighting is wonderful....keep on.
Ive got c4d and have never even bothered with it!What a waste of time not using it!!!Looks brillaint Stefano but I'd stop Uri Geller from visiting you and JackololByeeeeeeeeeeee Vote!Calum5
Nicely done, Stefano. Looks like your C4D skills are quickly catching up to your Bryce skills. Excellent work!
Very effective and artistic!
Looks damn good! I bet you are going to do some fantastic things with this program.
Excellent design!
Sorry, can't help you with the fork problem, but I really like the reflections on the silverware. You are doing great with the learning curve in C4D.
Great modelling....looks cool!
