Fantastic - all we need now are morphs to make mike look like Oliver Reed, Frank Finlay, Michael York & Richard Chamberlain - would really bring the musketeers to life then.

It may be hard to hear that, but IMHO this is high time to say it loud. Some people here may not like it, or not agree with me, but I have feeling it is the right thing to say: Richelieu was a bastard. Vive le Roi muhahaha!!!!!!!!!

Okay, if were going to talk Musketeers movies here, I guess I'll have to throw my two cents in... I wasn't a fan of "Young Blades" 90's version, though I did like the 1973 version (York/Chamberlain/Reed/Welch et al.) Though many may disagree with me, my favorite is the 1948 Gene Kelly (D'Artagnan) version with June Allyson (Constance), Lana Turner (de Winter), Vincent Price (Richelieu), Van Heflin (Athos), Frank Morgan (The King) and Angela Lansbury (The Queen). It doesn't stick to the story exactly, but it's fun to watch. Thanks for the comments on the image...

Really great image and I think I just got an education on the 3 Muskateers! I like the newest version with Gerard Depardieu (not sure I spelled that right). I love the action in this image, wonderful!
