And a blade of sun... it seems a heavvy castle door
LOL there had to be a door in here today:)) Definately a substantial door and walls to go with it..is this inside the abbey? Your holidays have definately inspired some wonderful shots Ale..this being one of them:)
Lovely light, looks like the door has taken a beating or maybe that's just how it was made, heh. Beautiful. =) hug
I'd look a little beat after 900 years, too;-) I've always wanted to visit there and this little glimpse makes me want to go even more--what beautiful textures and light!
If only these People knew of Formica, it would be in better condition...only kiddin' embrace...an Excellent capture...think of those that passed this Entrace...Mind boggling :)
Fantastic Ale! ... perfect :))
Love the door,the shadows,the mood,Great one Ale. :-D
Excellent use of light and shadow!! What an eye you have, Ale!!
That will keep the Martians out :) Very mysterious -
Full of atmosphere and beautiful light... Wonderful, Ale. Love that one :)))
This has your "stamp" all over it. A beautiful Ale door shot! Wonderful combination of light and shadow! :)
Have been in the Bretagne too this year, but had no time to visit the Mont St. Michel. Now I know what I've missed. Congratulation, great shot and lights.
Wonderful lighting!!! You have a talent for making the simplest things amazing!
Very nice point of view, beautiful light and shadows! Excellent!
Great shot as usual Nice Ale.
Great contrast between darkness and light. Seen and unseen, known and unknown. Tedz, you know, not everything that shines has greater value. I've learned one can decrease things historical values by polishing.
Great shot, i have been there too for about 20 years ago, and i do remember just this door :-)
