Description

Digital Photo -- unretouched Louisbourg Fortress, Nova Scotia. Sep 01 This is the chapel inside the multipurpose building. The painting behind the altar is of one of the French kings who was canonized. IIRC, the guide said this particular saint/king was very popular with military men, so that explains his image in a fortress chapel. Note that he was not cannonized; that's the next image. Enjoy. Enjoy.
