this is just my attempt at texturing the armour i made for this months au challenge, i have loads of these but i think this one looks best so far, mostly just a layered shader with the chainmail being default blinn with a bump. i know the helmet still needs work :)
all maya 4, default renderer etc..
(this is an update with slightly more aged chainmail ya da ya da...)

the textures are great and how they look is SUPERB! but it seems the warrior has found a NEW chainmail-shirt! the chainmail looks too clean

This is not a texturing test it's a texturing success! and I disagree with the comment on the chainmail it looks fine it's a perfect belnd of shiny and not cuz real chainmail will oxidize but contant use and movement will rrub the oxidizing off between the links too so it's great :-D
