Description
This is a pencil sketch using several light and dark graphite pencils. I first drew her nude, and then decided to cover her for modesty's sake. He He...

Great work. The only thing that I see that looks a bit strange looks like a muscle above the knobby thingy on her right ankle. But that in no way detracts from the beauty of the image. Lovely.
Beautiful! Great job capturing the motion.
Beautiful work!!! Stunning and graceful!
Beautiful figure study and as always, so well drawn...
Beutiful work!
this is amazing :) Love the stance, love the pose and teh way you "covered her kindly" :)
Very appealing work indeed.
this is some excellent work here, i wish i could even make a stick figure with a pose like that, let alone sketch a whole person and even do those bones where the neck ends. very impressive :)
very academic, impresive :D
great work. those muscles in her leg and arm need some work though. love the pose and shading=)
fantastic work!
It's a very good drawing, though I would not have called it "at rest" since there is so much tension left in the legs of the model (try to strike the pose yourself !). I tend to differ with Zargent: anatomically, this could be correct (there is a muscle on this side of the lower leg, peroneus longus), if you look at the position of the foot, this is ok if you take into account the fact that the tendon extends to the foot, and that the foot is very bent. Maybe more something about the PROPORTIONS of the muscles, then. But since the model seems to be a dancer, this could be ok too. Super drawing !
Very nice work on a difficult pose...
Inspiration, every day. Between you and cheryl, I am motivated to sketch everytime out. Your work always amazes me and this has a very alluring quality. thank you for the honor of viewing your work. Outstanding.
I think BKelly says it all, as always its a fresh feel to all your drawings and paintings and as always, its a pleasure to know you personaly. Keep up the excellent work Lorraine, you are so talented.. XX Marc :)
I too think that this is a brilliant drawing, despite the slight proportional warp, which, to me anyhow, seems to only add to the controlled tension of dance. I love the way you covered her, only for the fact that the fabric seems to add to the softness of the image, the flows adding balence and movement. Thank you so much for sharing this, keep 'em comin' ;) hugs
Outstanding I love the pose, and the shading with the pencils is execellent....Fantastic
For someone at rest, she still looks like she is in motion. Simply superb work sis!
I love this, totally brilliant. i'd love to see more of these, types of drawings.
Oh this is so pretty, so so pretty. I can't even begine to describe my feelings when I'm looking at this. All the details and the softness and the pure beauty in this... marvelous.
love the stretch in her neck - I can feel it just looking -- and isn't that what art is all about -- to make us FEEL! thank you ! JZ
think all has been said - agree with all the others - superb work - see you
Amazing! What a beautiful, sexy and sensual pose!! Another excellent piece! U're very talented! :)
