Description
Three weeks in Newfoundland looking for the classic fishing port, and here it was...Baie Verte, a long drive from anywhere. The fleet was in, largely because of the moritorium on cod fishing.

Sure is different than the BC coast...there are no trees! I like photos like this, but for my own taste I prefer them to be much sharper in focus...has more impact that way :)
The thumbnail drew me in. What a nice photo you have here. Did you by any chance enlarge it a bit from the original? I'm thinking that might be what threw off the focus, or you were taking it from quite a distance. However, it doesn't detract much from the overall composition. It's a very busy photo and yet it works! Good job.
I agree that nevertheless being busy it works...:)
Thanks for the feedback....the original picture was very sharp, but in using a new scanner I had some problems with artifacts, so softened the pic to compensate. Once I get on to this scanner, I may take another run at this.
Very interesting subject - Almost more the point of this photo rather than the quality -
Actually I think this photo is very well captured.. nice job!!
