Poser/Vue/Photoshop/Painter
The original scene (which you can see here) was posed in Poser and Rendered in Vue and then taken into Photoshop/Painter where it was mostly repainted to what you see here. The scene also was a lot of pre-work as well, having to make several modifications to some models I had to use in the scene. I hope the creators of those models don't mind.

Note: My trip got cut short unfortunately, which is why I wasn't gone the two weeks I'd said earlier in case you were wondering...

Awsome!
Cool image, Shadow. Conveys motion very well. Ever notice how pirates always look more cheerful after they're dead?
Thats cool, reminds me of monkey island!!
Ahoy mateys!!! This looks proper wicked. I'll raise a glass to ya, Shadow. This shivers me timbers!! };-D
Fantastic Shadow! You have hit this one out of the ballpark! The colors are rich and deep. The ship, the lightening and the rain just further complete the detailed composition, bringing that fear and danger element into the dramatisation...indeed this wonderful work of art is like a melodic arrangement. Each one at its perfect pitch!
