Description

This is the second of Tisborne's characters. I'm giving them my own flair, adding things, taking things away. Mostly adding them. Anyway, I'm a little stuck for what to do with the Berserker. Here's the ideas I had, all roughs, that I ask you to help me decide on. I will do one, maybe two, and I wanted to know which ones you thought had the most potential as a final piece. I can't decide. I stuck Tisborne's original in there but it's hard to see. I'll include it with the final image too. Thanks! Oh, that's a hammer in his hand...I'm toying with different designs for it. The final will be both ornamental and functional (I hope).

I really like the power reflecting from the close up on the lower left. Looks like you could do some awesome muscles on that huge neck. The expression there is quite kewl too. I alos love the fighting stance on the lower right. He looks cornered and ready to unleash hell.

I like the top middle sketch. It seems to be the most dynamic. I don't really like the bent-shaft of the left hammer you drew (it seems to hinder leverage). I like the unproportionately large carved stone on a straight pole, perhaps wrapped in tattered leather or something. Good rough sketches.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I'm going to kick around some more ideas for the hammer/mallet thing, I like the tattered leather idea. I got word from Tisborne that he likes the one where he's holding the hammer on his shoulder, so I'm going to do that one for sure but I may pick a few others for fun.

you did something neat with the hammer handle lower left, I like the ergonomic bend, does it allow more power to the swing or give a more natural grip like the snowshovels?
