Aircraft:
- Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress "Picadilly Lilly II". Since I've said the basic things about her in previous panoramas and images, I'll go to some new info. She's painted accuratly in the paint scheme of the 91st Bomb Group (H) most noticably from the A on the tails (which you can't see in this photo). The museum has been pushing for funds to restore her, it'll take a million+ to begin the process. Stripping the paint off of her will take serveral thousand. She's in pretty good shape considering she's been sitting out there since 1972. Inside, she looks worse. Paint peeling, rust everywhere, but yet even her insides are as bad as other B-17s that have found the same fate she has. For more images of her, visit http://www.warbirds.n3.net
Camera is a digital Toshiba PDRM-5 (2.15 MP). Image was resized from 6162x1152. Please note that there are some mistakes in the stitching due to the fact that the camera's lens is not dead center to the rotation point on the tripod.
