Description
Sorry bout the repost, there were a few minor adjustments i decided to add. This is one of the few scenes ive wanted to do since i got Bryce, and finally i built up enough patience(barely!) to do it. used the layering thingy again, spent 60% of the time rendering the orcs 7 or 8 at a time.
This is what i think the battle of helms deep would of looked like, so its not suppose to replicate the movie, although that would of been cool.
consider this my rip-off of Flaks "seige" :) just kidding---thanks for viewing!

On a roll now Woody. Love the point of view, and the patience is evident. This is a piece of work, where you can truly sit back and feel totally satisfied. A magnificent effort, and a pleasure to view. Also worth a vote me thinks.
Great Scene, very cinematic. Even though it's static I almost expect them to start moving.
I would round of the big blocks in the foreground. Even though they're out of focus you can still see the sharp edge.
Aahh Woody.. Here we go Man!! Your work is getting more and more bold!! More and more detail. I'm loving it!!!... Whooo yeah!
'nother day, 'nother 8 orcs! super smoke & fire, depth of field. congratulations, but no resting :-) keep 'em coming!
whoohoo! do I see another Flak in progress? ;)Seriously, awesome image! love the effects, POV and composition!
Superb work!
Nah, not a rippoff in any way - a great work in its own right. I like the lighting you've got going with it especially, and a good sense of motion in the orcs. Keep going, please :)
Cool work very well "arranged"
well done-it really captures the feeling of the moment
WOW, another well crafted image. Love the POV and the grandness of this scene. Top job. ---- Scott.
Normally I boycott sold-out LOTR and Star Wars works, but I knew this one would be worth viewing! Good job on making the masses of orcs, stinky, filthy creatures!
excellent work, my compliments! :o)
This rocks, Jordan! Amazing job, it's a really impressive mass of assaulters.
This is a classic. An aweome rendition of an awesome story. My Compliments.
