Description
This is a mixed media piece, mostly colored pencil. I thought it was a nice springtime picture. Many years ago, in New Mexico, when I lived on a ranch in the mountains with my parents, I had a pet fawn like this named Randy. He was an orphan and we fed him from a bottle.

Awww, he's very cute...just wish he was bigger to see all of your fine detail you put into these...
Very sweet and pretty!! This is so beautiful!!
Ohhh..how precious!! Excellent artwork! When I was young, I use to dream of finding a fawn and taking care of it! They seem like such amazing creatures!! Thanks for sharing! :)
how incredibly lovely... I just adore deers :) I couldn't be happier than see one this lovely way, painted by your heavenly hands :) Hugs :)
Beautiful work!! I almost got close enough to one of these last spring to pet it... unfortunately it took off when I was inches away... awesome work :)
Thank you. Little Randy, my fawn was so cute. He used to leap into my lap with those little sharp hooves, not realizing how sharp they were. He would also try to butt the dog with his head. He didn't have horns yet. Unfortunately, we lost him when I have him too rich of a formula to drink in his bottle. Considering our ranch was a hunting lodge, though, he was better off not growing up in that environment. I did miss him, though.
Wonderful work sis. Looks like a scene out of Bambi. Just love your use of color.
Ohhh this is the cutest thing! And excellent painting, very well done!
