Description
*There's no other place in the world, which I would die for.
No other one, which makes me cry for emotion, the way I do here.
I owe to my town, all the sense of respect for beuaty, people and culture I have.
All my inspirations, blossomed from the treasure of living in this corner of paradise.
I tried to find a poem , among millions written by so many writers about my town, that could express what I feel when I immerse myself in the sight of Florence.
But I couldn't find any,not even from my beloved Dante that could express the immense joy of my heart when from Piazzale Michelangelo I see this sight I have painted.
Forever grateful, that I can call Florence "My Home".
Wherever I'll live and go, this will always be the only place I would love to rest at. Until and after the end of my days.
Come here one day, all of you.
And I hope, that you will then understand me in full.*

This is the best you've ever done. And the best I have ever seen in the 2D gallery. I didn't want to use the "Favourite" feature as it doesn't look any useful to me, but this one I had to add there in the Images at least. A masterpiece.This is real art.

Meli...I don't know if there are words enough to fully embrace the compositional genius and detail you have invested in this work. I was so very amazed by the sketch and the detail that was present, but you have out done yourself. Beautiful, vibrant colors fill the image with golden tones blazing through each painted brush stroke. I can see by this flawlessly beautiful painting just how much you love Florence! Wonderful!

Wow. This is amazing. Like, really amazing. It has an almost (almost) cezanne typed geometry on some of the buildings, and the space...the contrast, color, layout, any formal element you can imagine, it is done here, and done well...not well...its done with amazing skill, moreso than most of the painters i ever saw in school. This is like post impressionism all over again. Wow. Later later
