Excellent work, Howie..
Exceptional modeling, the forms and shapes of the items in the scene look very exacting. Great work on your textures too. While I like the lense flare effect I don't like the sunburst hotspot on the glass. Aside from that this is truly wonderful.
I really like this image better, Howie! I can feel the warmth of that sun.... the lens flare really gives life to the image. In my most humble opinion. I can't even begin to fathom the skill and talent it takes to create like this. :) wynne
Man, stuff like this makes me want to go get Strata. Really exceptional and compelling - just want to ease up to it for the warmth, pick up the pencil and draw.
I love this, Howie. Such atmosphere. Has he just finished that drink or is he about to start? Is he getting married or divorced? What kind of night has this man survived? Is this THE dawn he has been waiting for? Where is he going that he must watch the time so closely? Or has he just returned and discarded all possessions. What momentous thing is he about to write or draw? Talk about every picture tells a story... You could write a novel from this. Exceptionally good, Howie. I share the slight aversion to sunbursts (I mean generally - not just here) - but that is an entirely personal point of view. Technically and artistically this image is totally fab.
