Description
Modeled and rendered in LightWave, zero postwork (except for the presentation layout). Thanks to the inspirational animation work by petes, I've decided to go back to work on "Dystopia" and do a little playing with some pollution. I had lots of help from chemicalbrother, wgreenlee1, Fillingim and pnevai with the hypervoxels, wind and the lighting settings.
With the help of the G2 plug-in from Worley Labs, I was able to reduce rendering time from over three-hours to just under 15 minutes. This scene has 261 objects with 1,070,268 polygons and 1,396 different surfaces.
Please let me know what you think. Thank you very much for taking time to view, and for all your support.

Wow ... great detail, fantastic work as usual
excellent work moe =)
Beautiful as always Mo. Love this scene. I can see alot of possibilities for it...
Stunning detail level. An obviously huge investment in time and modeling that has paid off well. Wonderful work.
Wow! I love this image. nice color and great lighting. very futuristic work. excellent mbius.
I'd suggest losing the skytracer background tho for a gradient with distance fog effect so that your horizon line isn't so sharp....... maybe add some depth of field too.....
Under a great number of other comments, but I must add mine, even if it's just to say that I find your city really great!

Holy Chit! All I can say is I hope that Dystopians are smarter than we are about smoke stacks and smog. Beautiful world!

clutches his monitor so he doesn't fall in WOW ! Thats fanTASTIC !
Smoke on the right is kind of "spherish". The city is Just Great!

I think I need to chime in here too. This is a fantastic peice of work. I can't imagine how long it must have taken you to model this all. In addition, the lighting and the ambience really pull me in. And that smoke. I can feel my lungs burn just looking at it. Great job.
Dude you out did yourself
