this is great.. cept for the toes peekin out the boots... great characterization!
Truly an amazing character, looks very fierce.
Wow, he really is one mean-looking mother lover. (Readers of 'A Princess of Mars' know what that means.) A Green Man is usually drawn taller, about 14', but nobody does the four arms very well; my personal image is that of the Michael Whelan covers. Keep up the good work!
Charmz, those aren't his toes - they would be green - just a little texture bobble I didn't notice til you pointed it out. :-)
Very Excellent Work... Great Character and Texture..... ~ JLM ~
Incredible ! Wonderful character!
Daio, I am in awe!!! As a fan of Barsoom, he looks just like Tars Tarkas! What a labor of love you have done. This is exciting for me to view your work on Barsoom! Fantastic and just wonderful. You are the tops! We still live!
DDDDDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!! Now THIS is Tars Tarkus!! I think that SophiaDeer and I both would be on our knees chanting "We're not worthy", LOL! Can't thank you enough for the awesome cool pics you've posted of JCM and now this! BRAVO! :)
Yiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiikeeeeeeeeeeeeees !!! Wowsy this is an absolutely fantastic character. Great work
How did you get the two sets of arms to work? I've tried a number of techniques and they don't want to stay with the body for me.
Very Cool
Pretty sweet :) Nice use of the texture
very cool Im a big fan of the Mars books read the all in three weeks and Tars was the man keep it up!!
Mouth drops to the floor as I look, What a great figure and attention to detail. A+. Yet his lower teeth may be a bit over powering and takes your eye away from the wonderful figure study and Textures you have amazed me with. Plz whens the next? keep them coming and want to see this mean fekkow in a series. If I was able to vote on this work of art it would be without a dought an EXCELLENT!!!!! Cheers ~Chris Reich~
What SophiaDeer said. This is simply fabulous work and thanks for the inspiration.

I loved those books. It's amazing what you have done here. But didn't they have six arms? Just wondering.
