Description
Despite the recent space disaster where 7 lives were lost this tribute reminds humanity that we live on borrowed time! True cooperation between all peoples on this fragile planet is ever more important.

Indeed, excelent. --- It always irratates me how some dont see the importance of space travel. It is THE MOST important thing for our species. when will everyone realise that?
I also agree with the last comments... What a Fantastic Work of Art and Tribute to the Quest of Mankind and Space Exploration.... ~ JLM ~

It is an excellent allegory...!! the realization is stupendous...!!!
Beautiful image. I especially love the lighting-it has your own original "look".
Excellent. This is the future of yesterday.
Great feeling of space and movement.
Fine tribute to the brave members of the space program, they have had to take many risks, this is a beautiful image.
It was a silly way to do things. Now it's a juggernaut. Look at that little tail flap under the three engines. Notice the thickness of the trailing edge of the rudder. How it just fell through from orbit to the subsonic regime where it could land was a miracle of ballistics unknown to the rifle bullet. I never could hold on to the drawings and manuals NASA kept sending me as part of the Get Away Special Payload. It was like quicksilver that pumped a perfect vacuum simulating space. Thanks for the tribute. Memory serve it well.
Excellent image and message!
Hi Danny...I'm so sorry it has taken me so long to get here to comment on this wonderful image. I just love the colors and the turn of the shuttle, the planet in the lower right corner revolving and I think the most interesting of all is the turbulence underneath...interesting, because we all know there is no turbulence in space...so, I'm only guessing... mind you, but it would seem to represent the raging turmoil of a planet in constant disharmony...or so it would seem. Just a thought! I love your work Danny!
Excellent composition and coloring!
