Description
Fifteen years ago, six loaded containers broke off of a ore transport in the New Rand star system and crashed into a habitat module supporting approximately 8,000 asteroid miners and their families. Allasyn Karter was the sole survivor, and her body is now mostly machine. Her brain and most of her nervous system were saved, however, and Allasyn is still a human being in every way that matters.
