Ok. I haven't done Inktober since the early 1400s. I just found out---from nena---that it's on! Now. I have just gotten over a bad back---I mean the kind where you move one inch and your life flashes before your eyes. BUT! I did several sketches in bed (after commenting) and these are them. I can type, now but drawing hurts --- thus these drawings! Today's theme is "SMACK". Yesterday's was "CACTUS". THESE ARE NOT REMBRANDTS (in case nobody noticed). Ok? So don't say, "gee mark: DRAW MUCH????" BUT....they have their own charm, wouldn't you say? (The line work. The detail. The compositions....this is ART, people...) When I'm better, I'll draw more. (I know, you can't wait...) I included an old ink sketch of a dog made it for Inktober years ago. The dog's name is "King Phillippe of France". I don't know why...he liked the name... (I'm selling these in editions of 200. Call for a price.) I'll get back to commenting later---Incl Nena, who told me about this. Thank you, Nena! I'll do some better sketches soon! #inktober #inktober2026 (Are these hashtags supposed to take you to some exotic land? Did Van Gogh have hashtags? Did Michelangelo? I'm gonna put a hashtag next to my building, and see if it takes me someplace amazing...) Have a fine day! m ------------------ (Re the cactus: That animal on top? I have nooooo clue! A dog? A rabbit? A reeeeeally small dinosaur? You tell me...) -------------------
