Padme and Anakin return to the Lake Country on Naboo for a quiet moment during the Clone Wars. Date Published: September 30, 2026 I’ve had the idea for this scene in my head, and my “notebook of ideas”, for quite a while but couldn’t realize it without that gorgeous silk gown. I’ve been searching for something similar ever since I first saw the “lake gown” in Episode 2 back in 2002 without much luck. Thankfully, a wonderful friend created the gown objects for me and sent them to me as a fantastic birthday gift earlier this year. I had a little trouble create textures for them due to the UV mapping, but thankfully another friend helped me out with that and fixed it so I could texture the gown as you see in this piece. I love how the translucent silk projects colorful light onto the surroundings! I created the likeness of Padme and Anakin myself. They aren’t perfect, but they are 100% done by human hands. I realized halfway-through this scene that one of the reasons my Anakin didn’t look right was the hair model I had originally chosen. I think this new pick works much better for him. I probably should have made it a shade lighter as well, but I like it as it is for now.
