Description
Here's a sneak peek at my SBRM Waterfowl v6 set for Poser/DAZ Studio. This set includes stiff-tail, sea, diving and dabbling ducks. Shown here are the critically endangered Brazilian Merganser. There are only 50-249 adult individuals left. Pollution and habitat destruction are the main causes in this bird’s decline. In the background are a couple Masked ducks (also included in this new set)
The key indentifier between the male and female species is the long stand of rear head feathers that only males have. They eat mostly small fish, but also consume aquatic insects, worms, crustaceans, and amphibians.
