there are more and more places across the country that are looking like this as companies move over seas. I am afraid it's going to get worse yet before this country says snuff and stands up on its own again.

That's the reason I took advantage of the situation. It was still during the Summer when I took this, it was a rainy day too.
As a native New Yorker, I'm astonished to see this totally deserted station. Equally astonishing is the wonderful sense of isolation and atmosphere that you've captured in the very bowels of the Megalopolis! Excellent work.
Ironic thing is that it is near Coney Island, and it is still the summer when I took this.
