Description
The terrain and a part of the material are from "Terrain Stacking" (available at bryce-tutorials) the other part of the material from "High Resolution Terrains 3". The ground plane has a material from "Vegetation" (both available at Daz 3D). The city (OldDwellings) is a terrain and with the material made by David Brinnen. Sky and ambient light by the "Illpass" HDRI (unpublished) and the key light by the sun. The ruins of an old city on a hill.

The use of light and atmosphere elevate this image to the level of photo-realism. The way the distant clouds gently embrace the mountain really adds that extra bit of credible detail. Remarkable work!
